WELCOME TO IAPD AWARDS SEASON!
Each year, the IAPD recognizes member companies and individuals in the performance plastics industry for outstanding performance, innovations and leadership in the field. The eight prestigious awards will be presented during the IAPD Annual Convention in Chicago, IL USA.
Individual Awards:
Paul Davis Award of Merit- In 1986, IAPD created the Paul Davis Award of Merit to recognize members who have performed exceptional, extraordinary or outstanding service on behalf of the association and the plastics distribution industry and bestowed Paul Davis, the catalyst to IAPD’s founding in 1956, as the first recipient of this most esteemed award.
IAPD Pacesetter Award- This award is bestowed on an IAPD member(s) who has contributed consistently to the priorities of IAPD while demonstrating forward-thinking and dedication in service to the performance plastics industry.
President’s Award- This award recognizes an IAPD member(s) who has gone above-and-beyond in their service to the association. They are a champion of engagement and guide for the future of the association and industry.

Company Awards:
Education Circle of Champions Awards- The IAPD Education Committee established the IAPD Education Circle of Champions award program in 2009 to acknowledge the innovative or exemplary educational initiatives by member companies. It is a special recognition for those companies that emphasize continuing education within their organization using IAPD’s training and educational resources.
Education Impact Award- This award honors one company annually that has made a significant contribution to the performance plastics industry through a standout educational initiative. Whether implemented at the branch, regional or company-wide level, the program demonstrates a commitment to advancing industry knowledge and workforce development.
Environmental Excellence Awards- This award celebrates the innovative or exemplary environmental responsibility by a member company. The award criteria recognize the IAPD members who have adopted practices in their operations that demonstrate new and creative initiatives in sustainability.
Environmental Impact Award– The IAPD Environmental Impact Award was created to recognize a specific environmental initiative by a branch, territory or companywide. Apply to the Environmental Impact Award to tell the story of the extraordinary measures your company has taken to demonstrate environmental sustainability.
Marketing Excellence Awards- This award celebrates the creative marketing efforts by IAPD member companies. The awards are based on a point system. The point system includes many low-cost or even free options for companies who may not have a marketing budget or even a dedicated marketing department.

The Paul Davis Award of Merit — IAPD’s most prestigious award in recognition of an individual’s outstanding work on behalf of the plastics distribution industry and the association.
